Audio video processing laboratory genus communication engineering department, National Central University, Department of Electrical Engineering and Communication System Research Center. The study covers the voice audio, video encoding and processing of images, with particular emphasis on applications in the broadband network and wireless communications.
The lab has been working voice, image and video encoding / decoding related research and implementations, such as research images, video, audio coding in wavelet domain, MPEG 1/2/4, H.263, H.26L , H.264, MPEG 1/2 layer Ⅲ (MP3), MPEG 2 AAC, G.711, G.723.1, G.729 and so on; and in-depth research on a variety of multimedia services in the broadband wired / wireless Internet in , as were applied to ADSL / FTTB (Fiber To The Building) network, UMTS / GPRS network, WLAN network of scalable video coding (Scalable Video Coding), dynamic video bit rate control (Rate Control), Voice over IP and other related research. In addition, the laboratory has continued working image, video and audio data to hide the watermark robustness study (Watermarking) technology. Research results were published in the renowned journal / seminars abroad or be realized by DSP, compiled regardless of voice, image, video itself / decoding or applied research networks, have a wealth of experience and achievements .
